Surround sound can be delivered to the home in many modern formats.  The formats that the Pan Galactic Company currently supports and masters directly to are the following:

DTS CD:

This format allows for a 5.1surround sound 24 bit 44.1K  sample rate recording to be encoded on a traditional CD. For play back the CD can be played back through any DTS decoder avalible on current home theatre amplifiers.  Pressing and mastering on this format is the best value.

DVD-V: AC-3 & DTS

 This is the standard DVD Video format used for release of major motion picutres and videos.  Pan Galactic can help you get you performance video DVD ready.

DVD-A

 This format is the next generation of PCM audio delivery. It allows for resolutions in stereo from the standard cd sample rate of 44.1K at 16 bits all the way to 192K in 24 bit.  This is a very flexible format, allowing for a mix of multi channel SR and stereo recordings.  Surround sound is generally delivered  at 96k in 24 bits.
